Round Table Discussion on the topic of Ethical, Transparent, Unbiased Algorithmic Design & Development

We would like to invite you to a Round Table Discussion on the topic of Ethical, Transparent, Unbiased Algorithmic Design & Development, taking place at PwC, Julia House Building, on the 14th of December 2018 between 11:00 – 13:00.

 

In conjunction with our recent activities at the Cyprus Center for Algorithmic Transparency (CyCAT) and the Transparency in Algorithms Group (TAG) within the Research centre on Interactive media, Smart systems and Emerging technologies (RISE) and in light of the new regulations on GDPR in Europe, we are organizing this event that will allow us to bring in the table important issues on ethical and transparent information systems that are used today in many organizations. During this round table discussion we will ask you – as the professionals behind these information systems – to express your thoughts, concerns and suggestions on this important topic, while experts from CyCAT (Cyprus and Israel) will present the possibilities for collaboration and suggestions on dealing with Ethical, Transparent, Unbiased Algorithmic Design & Development.
