2nd CEPIS International Conference on Digital Skills and IT Professionalism (ICODSIP) – Panel
Dr Styliani Kleanthous, Assistant Professor at the Open University of Cyprus (OUC) and Co-director of CyCAT, participated in the 2nd CEPIS International Conference on Digital Skills and IT Professionalism (ICODSIP), held from 6-7 November 2025, at Universidad de Alcalá (UAH), Spain.
During the conference, Dr Kleanthous contributed as a panelist in the session “The Missing Talent: Aligning Digital Skills with Industry Needs”, moderated by Marina Cabrini, Board Member of CEPIS. Drawing on her expertise in Human–AI Interaction, Dr Kleanthous discussed the critical role of digital skills in shaping the future workforce and explored how human–AI collaboration can empower professionals across diverse sectors.
The panel also featured distinguished experts from across Europe, including José García-Fanjul (Spanish Council of Informatics Engineering) and Ana Belén Gil (University of Salamanca), engaging in a dialogue on the strategies needed to align digital talent with evolving industry demands.
